Genuine documentary photography. The detail and the big picture. Portraits of our time, unfiltered.
Whenever I come home from a photo session, I always bring with me about between 300 and 2,000 stills, depending on the session. In other words, I photograph as if there is no tomorrow. Why? Because the act of photographing corresponds to a unique moment that will never be repeated. The purpose? Increasing the number of samples to be collected for a better selection and curation, through gradual steps, of the photographs that I consider most appropriate. The utilization rate that I give to my photographs varies between 0.1% and 1.3% approximately per session. This should not be interpreted as a (disastrous) success rate: it just means that I am extremely demanding and judicious with my own work. Detail is key.
